Booking Refund and Cancellation Policy – Pinhole Studio Pvt. Ltd.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all bookings, cancellations, and adjustments related to the services offered by Pinhole Studio Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By making a booking with us, you (“Client”, “you”, “your”, or “Booking Party”) agree to the terms outlined below.


🔑 Key Non-Negotiable Terms (Strictly Enforced – No Exceptions)

  1. Non-Refundable Advance Payment
    • All booking advance payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.
    • The advance may only be adjusted against a future booking made within 30 days of the original booking date. Beyond this period, the amount will lapse.
  2. 72-Hour Cancellation Rule
    • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled shoot.
    • Cancellations within 72 hours of the shoot are strictly non-refundable and non-adjustable.
  3. Damages & Reset Liability
    • The booking party is fully responsible for any damage to studio property, sets, or equipment.
    • All sets must be restored to their original condition by 7:00 AM the following day or before the next scheduled shoot, whichever is earlier. Failure to comply will result in reset charges.
  4. Late Payment Penalties
    • All invoices must be settled as per the agreed schedule.
    • Delayed payments will incur 2% interest per week on the outstanding balance until cleared.
    • The studio may withhold further bookings or services until all dues are paid.
  5. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
    • This Policy is governed by the laws of India.
    • All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

1. Booking Terms

  • Any damage caused during the booking period will be the sole responsibility of the booking party, who must compensate for repair/replacement costs and loss of revenue due to downtime.
  • The studio is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages caused by negligence, misuse, or external crew/equipment brought in by the client.
  • While acoustically treated, rare external noise disturbances (e.g., traffic, construction, weather) may occur. The studio is not liable for such uncontrollable factors.
  • Sets may be customized, but must be restored to original condition by 7:00 AM the following day or before the next shoot. Reset charges will apply if this is not honored.
  • It is the booking party’s responsibility to secure adequate insurance coverage for crew, cast, equipment, and production activities. The studio does not provide external insurance.
  • All booking parties must comply with safety, fire, and legal regulations. Non-compliance may result in immediate termination without refund.
  • Late payments are subject to 2% weekly interest, and the studio reserves the right to suspend or deny future bookings until dues are cleared.

2. Cancellations

  • All booking advances are strictly non-refundable.
  • Cancellations will only be accepted if made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled shoot.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable and non-adjustable.
  • The studio reserves the right to deny or cancel bookings if:
    • False or misleading project details are provided.
    • Safety, security, or compliance risks are identified.
    • The booking party has outstanding dues from prior engagements.
  • In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and the booking party may be held liable for any losses incurred by the studio.

3. Refunds & Rescheduling

  • Refunds will not be issued.
  • Adjustment Window: The booking amount can only be adjusted against a future booking scheduled within 30 days of the original booking. After this period, the amount will automatically lapse.
  • Rescheduling, if permitted, will attract administrative/handling charges as determined by the studio.
  • Any exceptional refunds approved by management in writing will be processed within 5–7 business days, after deduction of applicable gateway charges, administrative fees, or taxes.
  • Force Majeure: In cases of natural calamities, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events, refunds will not be issued. Bookings may only be rescheduled, subject to availability.

4. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

  • This Policy, and all disputes arising out of or in connection with bookings, shall be governed by the laws of India.
  • The courts of Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters relating to bookings, cancellations, or refunds.
